Apple’s surprise early delivery of it’s first batch of watches to Australian customers sent the internet into a frenzy this morning, with proud owners taking to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to stunt, hawling in babies/dogs/several thousand dollars worth of other Apple products to show off their new pieces.
As 9am rolled around across local timezones, buyers in Japan and China received their watches and a ton of people taped apples to their wrists, probably because they were salty they didn’t have $800 to spend on a smaller, worse iPhone to go along with their actual iPhones. US and European pre-orders will ship in the next few days, with reports suggesting the product will not be available for retail purchase until June.
